The Giuseppe Bagnai collection consists of manuscripts, photographs, printed material, correspondence, journals, artwork, and audio recordings.
Manuscripts in the collection by Bagnai include Il Libro d'Oriente (text for illustrations, 1977); Appunti e Poesie (undated); Racconte e Pensieri Vari (undated); Lettere per un'Ombra Appunti (1983); Dedicato a Te (1983); and L'Ultima della Terra (1998).
Photographs in the collection include the illustrations for Il Libro d'Oriente (black and white prints of artwork, 1977); two images of dancers (black and white negatives); twenty-four color slides regarding Dedicato a Te (ca. 1983); and a photo album containing color prints of Bagnai and others at an event (Mar. 22, 1983).
Printed material in the collection includes two museum catalogs inscribed to Bagnai (1965 and 1984); four articles written by Guerrino Lastrucci; and booklets about various artists and exhibits.
Correspondence in the collection includes several letters to and from various individuals, dating from 1976 to 1984. Some letters from Bagnai include poems and sketches. Also present in the collection are many letters from Luciana Sarantoni, dating from 1983 to 1985.
Journals in the collection consist of Bagnai's daily planners from 1972, 1978, 1979, and 1980.
