Ainsztein, Reuben (1917-1981)
Scope:
The Reuben Ainsztein collection consists of setting copy for Ainsztein’s Jewish Resistance in Nazi-Occupied Eastern Europe; With a Survey of the Jew as a Fighter and Soldier in the Diaspora (published by Paul Elek, London, 1974). The manuscript is typed with some carbon typed pages, all with holograph corrections and printer’s notations and marks. It includes an original draft of the index. The collection also includes a photograph of Ainsztein with his dog.
