Carlon, Patricia (1927-2002)
The Patricia Carlon collection consists of manuscripts and  printed material.

Manuscripts by Carlon in the collection include six early short stories for various women’s magazines; and a novel, The Visitors, written under the pseudonym “Bernadette Carlon.”

Printed material in the collection includes several stories by Carlon, published in various periodicals (1948-1959), titles include: Home Chat, The Australian Women’s Mirror, Favorite Weekly, The Australian Women’s Weekly, Mistletoe, Gay Love Stories, Pocket Book, and many from the The Sun newspaper.  Also present are several paperback “pulp”  novels by Carlon from the 1950s and 1960s, most written under a variety of pseudonyms (“Patricia Carstairs,” “Bernice Patrick,” “Pam Bernard,” “Phillipa Carstairs,” “Patricia Carlow,” and “Elaine Wells”).
