Scope:
The Rupert Croft-Cooke collection consists of manuscripts and correspondence.

Manuscripts in the collection include several drafts of his novels Give Him the Earth (Chapman & Hall, 1930); Three in a Cell (Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1968); The Ghost of June: A Return to England and the West (W. H. Allen, 1968); The Sound of Revelry (W. H. Allen, 1969); Wolf from the Door (W. H. Allen, 1969); and others.  Also present is a notebook containing Croft-Cooke's notes for a novel.

Correspondence in the collection includes personal and professional letters to and from Croft-Cooke, including Croft-Cooke's handwritten drafts of his letters.
