Goff, Martyn (1923-2015)
Scope:
The Martyn Goff collection includes manuscripts and related notebooks.

Collected manuscripts include The Education of John Cramer (published as The Youngest Daughter (Putnam, 1961)), The Uncertain Cure (published as A Sort of Peace (Putnam, 1959)), An Uncertain Cure (one-act play), The Bootlanders (published as Red on the Door (Putnam, 1962)), Why Conform? (Heinemann, 1968), and The Offence. Many of these manuscripts are holograph in exercise notebooks.

Other notebooks contain manuscripts for "The Return," "The Journey," "Men of Music," "Rachmaninoff 3rd," and "Broadcast Talk." Also present are diary notes pertaining to "Goff on Gorki Street."
