The collection includes manuscripts for Not a Cloud in the Sky, In All Walks of Life, A Good Home with Nice People, Song in the Night, All the Years of Her Life, and Remember When We Had a Doorman, as well as a poem, “Christmas Eve.”
Collected correspondence (1950-70) pertains principally to literary matters and chronicles Lawrence’s exchanges with Faith Baldwin, Vina Delmar, Hildey Lindley, Olga Owens, Helen Papashvily, Theodore M. Purdy, Randolph Ray, and Dan Wickenden.
The collection’s printed materials are constituted by newsclippings, Book Club materials, advertisements, and Lawrence’s contributions to publications such as Life Story Magazine, The Writer, Newark Sunday News, Farm Journal, Boston, and The American Girl, among others. Articles mentioning Lawrence or reviewing her work are also present.
