Manuscripts in the collection include the final draft and final copy of Quinlan’s novel Muldoon was Here (1967), first and final drafts of The Pioneer Sucker, a second copy novel The Madigans, the final draft of Quinlan’s unpublished novel Twilight and Dawn, a first draft novel The Merger, the first manuscript version of Quinlan’s novel Jugger (1961), Oh you America! A Sketchbook of American Life, The Hundred Million Dollar Lunch (1974), Inside ABC, The Story of Its Rise to Power (1979), a few radio plays, miscellaneous typescripts, and a play by Ned Armstrong called “The Way the Ball Bounces.”

Correspondence in the collection includes professional materials consisting of legal and contract correspondence, mostly concerning Jugger, Muldoon was Here, and Oh you America!

Printed material in the collection includes various magazines and pamphlets, newspaper clippings regarding Quinlan’s work, and miscellaneous magazine and newspaper articles, most by Quinlan.

Research material in the collection includes pamphlets, clippings, publicity, and folders for The Hundred Million Dollar Lunch.

Audio in the collection includes tapes of interviews for Quinlan’s books, including interviews with Harold Clancy, Leo Beranek, Reed Miller, and Herbert Sharfman.
