Soglow, Otto (1900-1975)
Scope:
The Otto Soglow collection consists of several pen and ink drawings of cartoon strips by Soglow. Present are approximately 190 strips for The Little King from 1950 to 1974; over 100 comics that appeared in The New Yorker, dating from 1938 to 1958 (not inclusive), along with a letter from the Vice President of The New Yorker Magazines; five comic strips that appeared in Collier’s magazine, dated 1937-1938 and 1940-1941; and thirty-four miscellaneous comic strips.
