Scope:
The Helen Wood collection consists of a manuscript, printed material, a photograph, and a citation.

The manuscript is a typed draft of a news release by M.B. Lederman, "Recently in Newton Center, Massachusetts, an 88-year-old lady...," from the University of Rochester.

Printed material includes a clipping from the Rochester Educator; and a copy of The 1931 Sonuor, published by the Class of 1931 of the School of Nursing, University of Rochester, dedicated to Helen Wood and signed by her.

The photograph is an image of Jerome P. Lysaught, a member of the National Commission for the Study of Nursing and Nursing Education, University of Rochester, presenting a plaque to Helen Wood.

The citation was presented by Mary Ann Garrigan, Professor of Nursing, Boston University School of Nursing, to Elizabeth F. Harlow, Newton Health Department (1970).
