Leonard Nimoy: In Memorian

 

This two-case exhibition follows the career of the late actor, director, producer and photographer Leonard Nimoy, who passed away on February 27, 2015. Best known for his role as Mr. Spock on Star Trek: The Original Series, Nimoy enjoyed a varied entertainment career and followed many artistic pursuits, which are highlighted in the exhibition. The exhibition includes a ticket from Nimoy's first theatrical production in 1939, photographs of Nimoy behind the scenes directing, storyboards & scripts from Star Trek episodes & movies, his second memoir I Am Spock, a collection of his photography, and a Replica star given to Leonard Nimoy to commemorate the placement of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
