The History of Italian Exile and Anti-Fascism

This three-case exhibition explores the life and career of three of Italy's most prolific intellectuals and activists: journalist and author Max Ascoli, journalist and interviewer Oriana Fallaci, and social activist and sociologist Danilo Dolci.

The exhibition was created for the 2017 Max Ascoli Symposium on "The History of Italian Exile and Anti-Fascism." The symposium featured a panel of experts considering how the influence of Fascism, anti-Fascist resistance movements, and anti-Semitism helped shape Italian and Italian-American 20th century history.

Located in the Gotlieb Memorial Gallery on the first floor of Mugar Memorial Library. The exhibition can be viewed during regular library hours. Limited Run
