Sixty Years of Paddington Bear
This small exhibition celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of author Michael Bond's most-beloved character, Paddington Bear.
First appearing in October 1958 in the book A Bear Called Paddington, author Michael Bond's Paddington Bear has become one of the most recognizable characters in all of children's literature. From the "Darkest Peru," this marmalade-loving bear has appeared in numerous novels, picture books, cartoons, and movies, with over thirty-five million Paddington books being sold around the world.
Located in the Gotlieb Memorial Gallery on the first of Mugar Memorial Library. The exhibition can be viewed during regular library hours.
