Dan Rather: Reporter of History
This exhibition traced some of the major events in the distinguished career of television journalist, Dan Rather, from his earliest days as a student reporter for The Houstonian at Sam Houston State Teacher's College, as a sports commentator for KTRH radio, and his eventual move to CBS television in New York in 1962. Shown were script fragments, reporter's notebooks, notable correspondence and photographs from all periods of his career.
There were also new material from Dan Rather Reports, Mr. Rather's new program for HDNet: photographs from programs including interviews with the Dalai Lama and soldiers from Camp Lejeune.
This exhibition is no longer on view.
