Since individuals are not free from the possibility of error, there is an element of humility in what people do. If the pragmatic test is the ultimate test, it means a person’s sense of truth can’t be validated.  For Thurman, individuals should become "high priests of truth." High priests of truth are individuals with integrity, rightness, inner coherence, qualitative characteristics, and authenticity.
