Men Who've Walked with God #5: Plotinus
May 10, 1953
May 10, 1953. Running time: 32:02. Plontinus "thought that all life, all creation was in God." The human soul is split between the individual and the realm of the divine. The portion of the soul in the body is involved in the human appetites and "gets dim." Plontinus says that the soul must become aware of the part of itself left in the "divine sphere" for a person to become a "universal soul." As our souls become aware of the universal soul we are closer to God and realize that God is in everything and is also greater than all things.
