Sep. 27, 1953

A person must protect themselves from the impersonal operation of nature and social order but the emphasis of their life must be on the values of the mind and spirit. People sometimes feel they stand outside of consequences and when they do so, they tempt God to destroy them. One must figure out how to focus on what they do as well as the quality of their acts so their life does not undermine their internal commitment to God.
